GENERAL MEMBERSHIP:  (Please read the following)

Dear Colleague - The Designated Appraiser Coalition (DAC) is a professional association founded by designated members of the Appraisal Institute® (AI) for the benefit of the valuation services profession.  Recognizing the diverse talents, specialties and resources available through professional association, the DAC is inviting all qualified valuation service providers to join in providing the widest range of services to the broadest range of clients.

The DAC system is a service driven electronic platform that is professionally governed.  If you wish to move your practice to the next level, we invite you to explore DAC membership.

As a DAC Designated General Member, you will receive:

  • Your own account with full use of the DAC Provider/Client valuation services system
  • A service profile searchable by all DAC clients and participants
  • Participation in all DAC Client marketing initiatives, including development of your own client marketing network
  • Access and participation in the DAC data and property catalog network services
  • Ability to participate in all DAC aggregated service initiatives that will enhance your market presence and increase your valuation services revenue.

As a Candidate for Designation General Member, you will receive:

  • Your own account with full use of the DAC Provider/Client valuation services system
  • A service profile searchable by all DAC clients and participants
  • Participation in all DAC Professional Designation Candidate mentoring and marketing network functions
  • Access and participation in the DAC data and property catalog network services
  • Ability to participate in all DAC aggregated service initiatives that will enhance your market presence and increase your experience portfolio.

Proceeding through registration will permit you to participate immediately. When you register, you will be charged a modest $20.00 monthly contribution through the account you establish.  The initial $20.00 contribution is refundable if you notify the DAC Services Administrator by email at realadvisor@valuelynk.com  within 30 days to cancel your membership.  If you decide to continue membership, the $20.00 monthly contribution will continue only until DAC services  fee income is adequate to cover its operating expenses.  The DAC collects a per project provider subscription fee of 3% on all DAC generated valuation services performed through the service system.  These fees may be passed through to the client; however, each member receives credit for DAC fees generated and once their credit is equal to or greater than the $20 minimum monthly subscription fee  contribution, those contributions cease.

Our goal is to have service fee revenue replace the need for member subscription fees in the near future.  General Membership requires no service contract and members can resign at any time.

Once your General Member registration and profile is complete, you will receive technology, business and marketing plan orientation services, together with on-going updates that detail the benefits of DAC membership.   This is to ensure all members have the opportunity to thoroughly understand the technology and services that will be available to DAC designated appraiser members, designation candidates and their clients.

If you have questions regarding DAC membership, please contact the DAC Services Administrator by simply clicking the "EMAIL" icon.  There are solutions to restore and protect our profession.  We are bringing these solutions together through the combined leadership, professionalism and participation of DAC Members, Affiliates and Clients.  We look forward to you joining us in this endeavor.
